Aqua Vitality HRT review: clinic visits, hormone plans and the price discrepancy

A closer look at Aqua Vitality's local clinic model, advertised monthly plans and the questions its hormone pages leave open.

Aqua Vitality, also called Aqua Vitae on its website, offers women’s hormone care through a network of physical clinics. That makes the practical comparison different from a prescription service organized entirely around messages and delivery. Your nearest location, the clinician you will see and the appointments you can attend belong near the top of the decision.

We read its hormone-treatment, pricing, pellet and refund pages on October 13, 2026. This review examines the public offer. We have not visited a clinic or tested its care, and the website contains a price disagreement that should be resolved before anyone relies on a combined-plan estimate.

The first appointment has its own charge

The pricing page advertises a $199 initial consultation covering a physical examination, an InBody screening and an hour with a physician. Its $220 monthly BHRT plan lists injections, pellets or creams, supplies, prescription management and unlimited doctor visits. These are the company's listed inclusions, not a verified invoice for an individual patient.

Ask whether diagnostic bloodwork, repeat tests and the selected medicine are covered by your quote. A list that includes visits does not settle every laboratory charge. Bring our HRT cost checklist and record the opening expense separately from the ongoing plan. Confirm whether the consultation is credited toward enrollment and whether any minimum commitment applies.

Two pages give different combined-plan prices

The dedicated pricing page shows $520 per month for BHRT plus a peptide. The hormone-treatment page still shows $480 for a similarly named package. We found both amounts during the same review and could not establish whether they represent different services or an outdated page.

Get an itemized written quote instead of choosing the lower display. The combined offer names estradiol, progesterone and testosterone, but that menu does not establish that a patient needs all three. A peptide is a separate treatment decision. Ask what the hormone-only proposal costs before considering additional services, and whether an advertised package can be changed without disrupting care.

Ask for the prescription behind the word bioidentical

Aqua Vitality's BHRT page describes custom-compounded treatment. Bioidentical refers to a hormone's chemical structure and does not, by itself, identify an FDA-approved finished medicine. The FDA explains that compounded drugs do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality.

Ask for the drug, route, dispensing pharmacy and reason for any compounded preparation. Our approved-versus-compounded HRT guide helps separate those questions. The clinic's statements that its approach is safer or more effective are promotional claims; the pages we examined do not establish superiority over approved treatments for your circumstances.

Pellets deserve a separate conversation

The practice also promotes pellets inserted under the skin. A procedure and a longer-lasting delivery system have different practical consequences from a tablet, patch or cream. Ask what is in the proposed pellet, its regulatory status, how adverse effects would be managed and what options exist if you want to change treatment after insertion.

The HRT basics article can help frame a discussion of symptoms, alternatives and personal risk factors. Do not interpret a promise of fewer appointments as evidence that monitoring is unnecessary. A clinician should explain the planned follow-up and what would prompt an earlier assessment, including unexpected bleeding.

Local access and follow-up need a location check

The site lists offices across parts of the Southeast, including locations in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. A location marketed as serving Charlotte has a Fort Mill, South Carolina address. Confirm the actual office and available appointment type before budgeting travel or assuming a statewide virtual service.

Aqua describes follow-up with a patient advocate. Ask which questions that person handles and how to reach a prescribing clinician. Its refund page directs some inquiries to a Lowcountry Male email address. Establish the correct contact for your own clinic and prescription rather than assuming every public contact channel serves the same purpose.

Read the refund rule before paying

The published refund policy says prescription-product sales are final and provides a contact route for a dispensing error or mistaken delivery. That text does not fully explain cancellation of an ongoing care plan, a consultation that leads to no prescription or charges for a procedure. Request those terms before entering a commitment.

For comparison, Midi's visit-based model separates appointments from other expenses, while Alloy's review examines online prescribing and shipment billing. Aqua Vitality is worth assessing when local visits fit your needs and its exact prescription and full quote are clear. The unresolved combined-plan price and broad clinical marketing deserve direct questions, not assumptions.

For another in-person option, our Bailey Health Solutions review looks at a single Florida practice and the details it does not publish.
