Josie’s HRT page advertises care starting at $89 per month. Its patch page gives a more concrete example: $269 for a three-month supply, including the provider consultation and medication, with messaging and shipping described as included. A monthly equivalent is useful for budgeting, but the three-month total is the amount to compare with your checkout terms. Ask whether a separately needed progesterone prescription changes that total.

The patch FAQ also describes an $80 consultation charge if a provider approves a care plan and you then choose not to proceed. Completing an intake without an upfront charge therefore does not mean every later decision is free. Before submitting payment details, ask exactly when this charge applies and how the clinic records your decision.

Who provides the care?

Josie’s terms identify the brand as a trade name of One Eleven Nutrition LLC. They describe CareValidate as the telehealth platform, with clinical decisions made by its employed or engaged licensed providers and dispensing handled by an independent pharmacy. This gives you several names to collect: the platform, your actual clinician and the pharmacy on your prescription.

Keep those contacts together. Billing help, advice about a side effect and a delayed package can involve different teams. Ask which team answers a medication question after business hours and whether a live appointment is available when written messages are not enough. Public descriptions of access do not establish a guaranteed response time for your case.

Check the exact product, especially the patch

Josie groups its HRT options under compounded hormone therapy. The patch page also uses compounding language without clearly identifying the manufacturer and approval status of the exact patch a patient will receive. We would not label that particular offer FDA approved from the word “patch” alone. Request the complete product name and dispensing label before agreeing to a plan.

The distinction matters because FDA approval belongs to a finished drug product. It does not transfer from an ingredient or from another product with the same delivery route. A concern about the combined body cream

Josie’s progesterone-and-estradiol body-cream page describes uterine-lining protection. That marketing claim needs particular scrutiny. The British Menopause Society’s May 2026 guidance warns that micronized progesterone absorbed through skin does not provide sufficient endometrial protection. Evidence for oral progesterone cannot simply be applied to a compounded skin cream.

If you have a uterus and systemic estrogen is being considered, ask the prescriber to explain the evidence for your exact protective regimen and discuss established alternatives. Put the service terms beside the price

Josie describes a cash-pay service rather than insurance billing. A plan advertised as cancel-anytime still needs a cancellation deadline, renewal amount and explanation of what happens after a prescription has been processed. The public terms we read did not settle every refund scenario. Save the offer and the final terms you are actually shown.

For a fair comparison, write down the initial payment, the following payment date, what follow-up includes and the cost of any additional medication. Where Josie belongs on your shortlist

Josie may be worth investigating if an online intake and delivered treatment suit your routine. Its compounded-product wording and the body-cream claim are reasons to get specific answers before purchasing. There is no verified head-to-head evidence here showing that Josie produces better symptom relief than another clinic.
